Our sanctuary is home to over 200+ horses and 60+ donkeys...a peaceful, lifelong haven for animals who have nowhere else to go. We don’t rehome; instead, every animal who arrives here is given a permanent place in our care, where they are supported with patience, dignity, and compassion for the rest of their lives. Many come from difficult or uncertain pasts, and here they’re able to settle into a safe, quiet environment where they can finally relax and simply be themselves. Life at the sanctuary is shared with a variety of other animals that bring warmth and personality to the farm each day. Alongside the horses and donkeys, we also care for barn cats who keep a watchful eye over the barns, friendly dogs who help with daily routines, chickens and ducks that wander the grounds, and a gentle goat who always finds a way to be part of the action. Together, they create a lively but peaceful atmosphere that feels like a true community. When you visit, you’re invited to slow down and experience this special place at a gentle pace. You’ll have the opportunity to meet the animals up close, learn their stories, and see the bonds they form with one another and with their caregivers. There’s something grounding about standing among such large, calm animals and observing the quiet rhythm of sanctuary life. Each animal here has a story, and sharing those stories is at the heart of what we do. Whether it’s a horse who has learned to trust again, a donkey finding comfort in routine, or a barn cat curled up in a sunny corner, every life here matters.
