Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering is a great way to make a difference in the lives of our rescued Belgian Draft horses. We welcome everyone that wants to help!
Volunteer opportunities will depend on your skills and abilities. Please complete the volunteer application and we will be in touch with you.

Our hand-on volunteer program does not require previous horse experience but we do require volunteers to be 18 years old or over.

We will teach you everything you need to know about working on the farm, safety and caring for the horses.

As a volunteer you will be doing real farm work like feeding, haying, mucking stalls, cleaning, spending time around the horses, watering, bathing, grooming and other chores for the horses.

We are grateful for everyone's dedication to our mission of rescuing and caring for our horses!

We look forward to meeting you!

As a new volunteer, you will complete a new volunteer training sessions where you learn basic horse handling skills, how to understand horse, safety around horses and herd behavior. We will also introduce you to the herd and understanding the routines of the farm.
