What is teeth floating?
Teeth floating is the process of filing down the sharp points and uneven surfaces on a horse’s teeth—a necessary and routine dental procedure. Because horses’ teeth grow continuously and wear unevenly over time, sharp edges can form and cause pain, ulcers, difficulty chewing, and weight loss.
 
By sponsoring a teeth floating session for one of our horses, you’re ensuring they can eat comfortably, maintain a healthy weight, and live pain-free. This care is especially important for our senior and previously neglected horses, many of whom arrive with untreated dental issues.
 
Your $140 sponsorship covers a professional dental evaluation and floating performed by an experienced equine dentist or veterinarian.
